What is 'Containers for Change'?

Queensland currently has the lowest recycling rates in Australia, at around 44%. Each year, approximately three billion beverage containers are generated in Queensland alone and are the second most littered item. So to help us all improve our recycling efforts and keep our beautiful environment litter-free, the Containers for Change scheme lets people get a 10 cent refund for each eligible container returned to a refund point.

What part can YOU play?

The National Squash Centre is looking to do their part for the environment, and, in return, do our part for the squash community.

With this initiative, we are using it as a chance to raise money to assist our Juniors in the following areas:

• Junior Programs
• Junior Coaching
• Junior Representative Teams

To join us in this fundraising opportunity, please drop your eligible recyclable containers into the bins provided around the Squash Courts, so we can pick up 10 cents per bottle and put it towards the area in our Squash community that we need to grow the most.
